I currently use Xero and I remember the set-up being very confusing. Now, I'm not great at this kind of thing anyway, however, I not stupid neither, so I eventually work things out (with help). With Thriday, it took me about 10 minutes and I was done. I had set aside an hour!!! The language was just 'normal' Jargon just not needed. I instantly was able to see the dashboard, soooo easy to navigate around. I honestly can't believe it. Why on earth have no other accounting software coped on to this need. Prior to set up, expecting it to be complex, I set up an appointment for someone to 'hold my hand'. I will still attend this appointment as I do want to ensure I don't make a mistake. Upon booking the appointment, I received an almost immediate response confirming the time/day. It was the last sentence that actually made me well-up. It said 'Carol-Anne we've got your back'. Thinking of all the confusion with xero over the years and changing accountants, never knowing for sure that the information is truely correct. I feel I can finally rely not only on the software, I can rely on the support. It's so impressive.

Where can I see a summary of my tax obligation?

If you would like to view a high-level summary of your estimated tax position, you can just go to Thriday's Tax screen, where there will be a summary section that shows your income, expenses, profit and estimated tax position. Your tax estimate is only an estimate based on the data you have input into Thriday about your business and your tax profile. Thriday does not have access to any information you have not input into Thriday that may impact your tax position. It's important for you to know that your final tax position may differ from Thriday's estimate, and Thriday is not providing you with a final calculated tax position. Your estimated tax summary is also available by default from the Home screen, where you can customise the different summary sections that appear so that you always get the information you want the most at a glance.

Is Thriday tax deductible?

You may be eligible to claim any subscription fees you paid for Thriday in the prior 12 months as a tax deduction. You can read further details to consider from the ATO HERE.

How can I edit my tax profile?

If you would like to complete or change your tax profile on Thriday:

1. From the Home screen, click on Tax

2. Click on Tax Profile

3. Apply the relevant filters

4. Click on SAVE & CLOSE
