Once you make a purchase, you can then easily upload a receipt so you are ready for tax time. Dext does not provide any Debit cards in Australia.

Unlimited invoices and quotes

Thriday's all-in-one financial management platform gives you the freedom to take care of whatever you need in minutes not hours. Thriday's system includes unlimited invoices and quotes. Dext does not provide any invoicing or quoting features in Australia.

Cash flow and tax predictions

Thriday provides in-depth cash flow and tax predictions to help you understand where you stand today, and where you will be in the future. Dext does not provide any cashflow or tax projections which means you have to try and figure it out yourself using Excel.

Pay bills

Dext does not allow you to pay bills in Australia. With Thriday you can upload and get your all invoice documents scanned. From there, you can easily view the details, confirm the amount and due date and make a payment. It's a very accurate and streamlined way to pay bills. Thriday's approach to accounts payable eliminates time wasted on financial admin.

BAS lodgment

Dext does not have an integration with the Australian Tax Office, so you are unable to lodge your BAS via the platform. Thriday on the other hand makes it really easy to prepare your BAS and lodge it to the ATO. All the transactions on your business account are automatically categorised, reconciled and GST calculated. Once you are ready, you can then submit it. You can even pay a bit extra and get an expert tax agent review it.

Generate financial reports

Dext focuses specifically on document scanning, which means it's lacking a lot of basic accounting and bookkeeping services. Dext is really a compliment to a platform like Xero or MYOB, so you will end up having to pay multiple subscriptions. Within Thriday, you can generate all your standard management financial reports including an income statement, cashflow statement and balance sheet. Dext does not allow you to create any of these reports.
